The procedure is very simple, you will be entering into a lease purchase contract that gives you all the benefits of ownership, while being able to spread payments over a period to suit you. The agreement will be subject to a credit check. You will make an initial payment of a minimum of 20%, then the balance will be payable in the form of lease payments spread over the period that suits you best. At the end of the term, title will pass to you upon receipt of the final payment. At that time local notary fees and taxes are payable, this will then register the property in your name.
